We’ll cover all the basics you’ll need to know from fundraising best practices, training on available resources, questions on about race day and then you will have time to socialize with other team captains! This is a must for any team captain and a great way to kick off your plans for the 2014 Coeur d’Alene Race for the Cure.
How do I join or form a team?
(Race has ended) If you haven’t registered for the Race yet, you can click here to register online and select “Start a Team” or “Join a Team.” Search for the name of the team you want to join and select it.
One of my team members registered as an individual when they meant to join my team. How do they correct this?
Thank you for registering for the Race. In order to change your registration from individual to team member, please send an email to email@example.com with the individual’s name and the team name they’d like to be added to. We will resolve the issue within 48 hours.
What is a Team Page?
Your Team page is a Web page that people can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Although the default Team page contains sample text and photos, your Team Captain can customize this page to make it a creative expression of the Team commitment to Komen and our fight against breast cancer by logging onto their participant center.
How do I register if my company is paying my registration fee?
Your company must contact us to set up your team as a corporate online pay. A special code will be given to you for your registration. It can be set up for your company to pay the full registration amount or a percentage of the registration fee.
What is the final date to register as a team member?
The team registration deadline is Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at Noon.
Please Note: Late registration will be available at Packet Pick-Up at North Idaho College Saturday, September 20th from 1-5pm and on Sunday, September 21st from 8:00am-9:30am the price will increase by $10 for each category.
How do my team members get their packets (shirts and bibs)?
Packet Pick Up will be at North Idaho College – Edminster Student Union Building – 495 North College Drive, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814

How do I know who has registered for my team?
When you set up your team, you will have created a team page. This page will show everyone who has registered under your team name. You can also download a printable team roster off of your participant center.
Who should checks be made payable to?
Please make all checks payable to Susan G. Komen, Idaho. On the memo line, please include your name and your team name. If it is clearly marked, you will get the fundraising credit.
Where do I send my pledges?
If you have pledges that were not collected on-line, please send them to:

Are pets, bikes, skateboards or strollers allowed at the race?
For the safety of all participants, pets, bikes, and skateboards are not allowed at the Race. Strollers are fine; however we ask that those with strollers start the Race toward the back of the pack.
What time should I plan on getting to the race?
The 10K race will start at 9:00 a.m. and you want to be at the start line no later then 8:45am so you can hear the announcements at the start line. The 5K and 1 Mile will start at 10:00am you will want to be at the start line no later then 9:45am so you can hear the announcements at the start line.
